Step into your skis right outside the door, tour to the summit, and ski all the way back down &#8211; right in the heart of Jotunheimen. <\/p>\n<p>The area offers a wide selection of classic ski tours, both with and without glacier crossings, making it suitable for experienced ski tourers as well as those heading out on their first summit tour. Whether you prefer randonn\u00e9e or traditional mountain skis, authentic high-mountain experiences and excellent skiing await directly from Krossbu. <\/p>\n\t\t\t<p><strong>Before heading out on a ski tour, we strongly recommend that you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.varsom.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Varsom.no<\/a> for the latest avalanche forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Download the Varsom &#8211; Regobs app on <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/no\/app\/varsom\/id1450501601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App Store<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=no.nve.regobs4&amp;fbclid=IwAR0aVt8ZEtT-XFO2zt4sE6M_3kNPEQ_ZBc6WHgqIgRb_DNAWC8PYBKBkE8I.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Play<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Use <a href=\"https:\/\/temakart.nve.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">avalanche terrain maps from NVE<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These tools provide important information about avalanche risk, slope steepness, and avalanche runout zones in the area around Krossbu, helping you plan safe and enjoyable trips in the mountains.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"javascript:void(0)\" title=\"Avalanches and Safety\" target=\"_self\"  data-modal=  role=\"button\" aria-label=\"Avalanches and Safety\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAvalanches and Safety\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t<p>There is no bus service to Krossbu during the winter season.
