Here, dramatic mountains plunge straight into crystal-clear waters, framed by lush valleys, charming fjord villages, and powerful waterfalls. <\/p>\n<p>From Krossbu, the fjord is just about one hour away by car, making it an ideal destination for a memorable day trip. Located about 45 minutes by car from Krossbu, Fuglesteg has become a popular hiking destination, rewarding visitors with breathtaking views of the fjord and the surrounding mountains.  <\/p>\n<p>A marked trail leads up to Fuglesteg from County Road 55, just above Fortun. The hike takes around two hours and follows steep but well-defined terrain. Fuglesteg can also be reached via a marked route from Tindevegen over Bredalsbandet.  <\/p>\n<p>The lodge is closed from 1 November to 1 May due to ice and avalanche risk. During summer weekends, simple refreshments are often available for visitors.
