Krossbu is perfectly located in the heart of the DNT trail network, making it an ideal starting point for memorable hut-to-hut hikes in Jotunheimen. From gentle day hikes to demanding multi-day mountain journeys, there are routes to suit a wide range of experience levels. <\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\"Skogadalsb\u00f8en\"\n\t<\/figure>\n

\n\t\t\tKrossbu – Skogadalsb\u00f8en\t<\/h1>\n\tHighly recommended. This well-marked trail leads from Krossbu down through the lush Utladalen Valley, passing wild glacial rivers and offering spectacular scenery throughout.
\nAlternative route options include:
\nKrossbu – Fannar\u00e5khytta – Skogadalsb\u00f8en – Avdalen Farm – Hjelle.\n

\n\t\t\tKrossbu – Fannar\u00e5ken\t<\/h1>\n\tGlacier crossings to Fannar\u00e5ken are organised by the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT). From Krossbu, you hike to the glacier edge (approx. 2.5 hours) where you meet the glacier guide. The glacier crossing itself takes around 2 hours.
\nYou may return across the glacier to Krossbu the following morning or continue independently down to Turtagr\u00f8.
\nImportant:<\/strong> Rope team places must be booked in advance directly with Fannar\u00e5khytta. Overnight accommodation must also be reserved ahead of time due to limited capacity.\n

\n\t\t\tKrossbu – Leirvassbu\t<\/h1>\n\tOn request, we can arrange a guided glacier crossing to Leirvassbu. This is a long and spectacular tour of around 8 hours, offering outstanding views along the way. Many hikers choose to continue onwards from Leirvassbu on their own. Transport back to Krossbu can be arranged if needed.\n

\n\t\t\tKrossbu – Turtagr\u00f8\t<\/h1>\n\tYou can hike to Turtagr\u00f8 by following the historic cairn-marked route across the mountains – an atmospheric journey along an old travel route.
