Galdhøpiggen

Galdhøpiggen rises to 2,469 metres above sea level and is the highest mountain on mainland Norway, in Scandinavia, and in Northern Europe. From Krossbu, you have easy access to the main starting points for the summit hike:

• Juvasshytta: approx. 45 minutes by car
• Spiterstulen: approx. 55 minutes by car

From Juvasshytta, a guided glacier crossing is required to reach the summit, while the route from Spiterstulen can be completed independently without crossing a glacier.
A hike to Galdhøpiggen is a true high-mountain adventure, offering breathtaking views, a sense of achievement, and the unforgettable experience of standing on the very top of Norway. A must-do for mountain lovers visiting the region.
