A longer and truly spectacular glacier tour lasting approximately 8 hours, regarded as one of the finest glacier crossings in Jotunheimen. The route offers stunning scenery and breathtaking views throughout the day.
Many guests choose to continue their journey independently from Leirvassbu. If you wish to return to Krossbu, transport can be arranged on request.

For a safe and enjoyable experience, proper clothing and equipment are essential. We recommend bringing:

  • Daypack (with space to attach an ice axe and crampons)
  • Warm clothing: wool base layers, windproof and waterproof outer layers
  • Warm wool sweater or down jacket for breaks
  • Warm mittens and a hat
  • Sturdy mountain hiking boots
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen
    Packed lunch, hot and cold drinks, and preferably some chocolate or snacks for the trip
