Snowshoeing from Krossbu

The terrain around Krossbu is ideal for snowshoeing and allows you to experience the high mountains on foot – even in winter. If you prefer not to ski, snowshoes are an excellent way to explore the landscape at a relaxed pace and get close to nature.
From Krossbu, you can head up toward the Smørstabbtindan range or venture further into the mountains with beautiful views toward the peaks around Fantestein. If you’re looking for a bit of elevation, Krosshøe and Falkberget are both accessible and rewarding snowshoe destinations.
