Krossbu is one of the best starting points for ski touring in the Smørstabbtindan range. Step into your skis right outside the door, tour to the summit, and ski all the way back down — right in the heart of Jotunheimen.

The area offers a wide selection of classic ski tours, both with and without glacier crossings, making it suitable for experienced ski tourers as well as those heading out on their first summit tour. Whether you prefer randonnée or traditional mountain skis, authentic high-mountain experiences and excellent skiing await directly from Krossbu.

There is no bus service to Krossbu during the winter season. For transportation, we recommend:

The road from Lom to Krossbu opens in time for Easter.
