The peak is part of Smørstabbtindane, and the hike there is easy via Leirbrean from Krossbu. You move through a beautiful alpine landscape, with great views.

The trip often requires crossing the Leirbrean glacier, and the area offers demanding, alpine conditions where crampons and ice axes are recommended, as well as good downhill skiing opportunities.

Highest point: 2034 masl

Difficulty: Moderate (glacier)

Season: Summer (July–September) / Spring ski trip (April–June)

Hike that requires glacier equipment and knowledge – possibly a guide.

It is recommended to assess the avalanche danger and check the conditions carefully before the trip, as this is an alpine route.
