We have several different guided tours to offer. If you would like a very special tour, please contact us.
Summit Tours in Smørstabbtindan – Summer/autumn
To reach the peaks of Smørstabbtindan, glacier crossings are required. In summer, this means traveling in a rope team and using proper glacier equipment. If you have the necessary training, experience, and equipment, the tours can be done independently, but we recommend joining guided trips for safety and local expertise.

Guided Ski Tours
Krossbu does not offer guiding services for ski tours, but several external operators arrange guided ski touring trips with Krossbu as the starting point. Tours are booked directly with the providers, including:
Glacier Tours from Krossbu
We offer guided glacier tours and summit guiding from late June to September. The very best time to experience the spectacular blue ice is in August and September, when the glacier reveals itself at its most beautiful.
Experienced Glacier Guide with Local Knowledge
Our glacier guide Dhan is from Nepal and has worked as a glacier guide at Krossbu since 1998. He has extensive experience guiding on both glaciers and mountains, and through many years in the area he has gained exceptional knowledge of Smørstabbreen and the surrounding peaks. Dhan also has in-depth insight into how the glacier has changed and developed over time.
During the winter season, Dhan works as a mountain guide in the mountains of Nepal.
